Art Design Competition: Sugar Skulls for Día de Los Muertos
We are thrilled to announce an exciting upcoming art design competition centered around the beautiful and culturally significant tradition of Sugar Skulls, an iconic symbol of Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This tradition, deeply rooted in Mexican culture, celebrates the lives of departed loved ones with vibrant and artistic representations of skulls, often adorned with intricate designs and bright colors. Sugar Skulls are a stunning blend of history, art, and culture, offering a unique opportunity for students to explore their creativity while connecting with a rich cultural heritage.
